Ah memes. Yes, I see you’re a person of culture as well.

Everybody loves memes, if it’s not Gen-Z surreal humored memes it’s the rage comics but memes are a part of life now. It invokes such nonsensical humor within us that we just love. And of course, it’s a great opportunity to advertise in a not so traditional way.

Here are certain aspects of meme as a marketing tool I observed/discovered that helps marketers to reach their full potential and a greater number of clients. These are what are known as pro gamer moves :

  1. Made Quick Connection:

Memes are FAST AF BOI when it comes to establishing a connection as they are humor comics based on our daily lives and that’s why they are such a useful tool when it comes to marketing.

2. Short & Crisp :

Another major advantage of memes is that they only have at most 4 lines, which is way shorter than any other form of advertising. Which means readers don’t feel like they are wasting their time while looking at memes and marketing people know this well, yes it’s big brain time.

3. Can be Any Form:
From short videos to gifs, they are not just limited to static images anymore some of you might not know this but memes only used to be images, Pepperidge farms remembers and now they are in any digital form possible. At the end they are meant to convey a message. So everybody can share their participation without being worried about formats.

4. High Engagement :

Regardless of time of the day, situations, platforms, memes are found everywhere. No matter what, the element of engagement is always high, higher than 420/69 nice. They are an evergreen marketing material.

5. Easy to Create and Share

When it comes to making memes, one simply does not need fancy tools or expensive systems. They are so simple to create & share that any person can do it regardless of their age. The only limitation in making memes is your imagination.

6. Power to Make trends
News memes that are trending are likely to reach the audience first than actual news, that’s how I get my latest news. Memes are so powerful that creators never miss an opportunity to connect with the audience in another funny way. One may think it can’t be that easy to reach trending topics. Just make memes on the news and it is that easy.

7. Big Brands also Adapt Them

Adaptation of memes for the campaigns/promotion by big giants like Burger king, Zomato and many others with greater reach than ever before proves that they work tremendously well when done right. Big companies when their memes are trending : I’m inevitable.

8. Meme Marketing and Meme Community :

With increasing access to the internet, meme lovers are also increasing, many memes implement technical terms that also evolve day by day that make memes a good opportunity to tap into & a great start to explore the undiscovered world of meme.
